Who is this mini-course for?

These sessions guide anyone in working in the social impact sector through the hacks and practices of the Altruist Impact System to strengthen nonprofit leadership, improve organizational systems, and increase revenue, as our Founder, Donald Summers, and CEO of Altruist Parnters, Aaron Everett walk through the seven practices in order from Donald’s book Scaling Altruism and then cycle back through them again.
We recommend following the practices in order, but you are welcome to join any session to learn and ask questions.

What does it cover?

Each 30-minute discussion covers one practice from the Altruist Impact System. You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions, and we encourage you to request a free breakout session if you’re interested and need extra support.

What format is it in?

Sessions are hosted on Zoom in a casual setting. Past session recordings are also available on the Tools & Templates page.

Altruist Partners is a firm dedicated to solving nonprofits’ most difficult problems, achieving ambitious impact goals and creating revenue engines to fuel growth.

Altruist is led by founder Donald Summers, who quite literally wrote the book — called, Scaling Altruism — on a proven methodology for building powerhouse nonprofits.

Over the years, Altruist clients average over $1.6 million in new revenue during the first year of implementation. With the aim of democratizing access to this comprehensive method, Donald created the Altruist Impact Accelerator in 2024.

The Accelerator is an online education and community platform that coaches nonprofit leaders through the process at almost any budget can afford.

These free bi-weekly sessions walk attendees through the hacks and practices used in the Altruist Impact System, with opportunities for interactive Q&A and breakout sessions.
